My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and excellent, although a bit dated. However, it was disappointing not to find a cupboard to hang clothes in and the room was cold upon arrival. The log fire in the bar was a nice touch to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.

The lodge was excellent, with huge rooms, but oddly lacking a cupboard for hanging clothes and a bit cold upon arrival. The service was great, with housekeeping and friendly staff, but pet amenities were not available. The location was stunning, tucked away off the beaten track for a peaceful experience, perfect for exploring Dorset. The dining experience featured lovely staff and homemade products, but lacked variety. Overall, a cozy stay with some minor room quirks.

The hotel is tucked away off the beaten track, offering a peaceful and quiet retreat with a relaxing ambiance. The rooms are spacious, in keeping with the period, but lack a cupboard for hanging clothes and can feel cold upon arrival. The service is friendly, particularly the housekeeping, with welcome drinks and pet amenities available. The location is great for touring Dorset and beyond, with a cozy atmosphere thanks to the roaring fire, though rain can be a downside. The dining is enhanced by lovely staff and real sausage options, but the iced and frozen coffee may not suit everyone's taste. The facilities are well-kept and satisfying.
